Most hilarious thread on UG. It's stereo amp, and I don't think it's tube.

Anyway I found an amp head in my shed. Its not guitar amp, but id sure as hell like to plug it in and see how it rolls. Its a Sansui "AU-55A". it has several inputs at the back, but i have no idea how to use them. Where do I plug the guitar in?

Inputs
Phono 1 & 2, Aux, Tuner & Tape (switch). Aux can be used for CD, DVD, VCR, Headphone jack.
Pre-in Main-out RCA plugs on rear. This amp can be used as a pre-amp or power amplifier. The Pre-Amp, inputs and power supply are all shielded.

Where do I plug in the guitar, what adaptors will i need? I can figure out how to plug speakers in, lol

EDIT: pics

It's stereo amp, and I don't think it's tube. However, for a stereo amp, it is very good. Don't plug guitar into it; just use it as hi-fi if it works.

Plug it into your TV, screw the guitar, it'll sound like crap anyways.

Just go radioshack or something and get some cables so youcan hook it up to your TV or home stereo.

I don't want to plug it into tv, the 06 model sansui does it well enough lol. Worth a project as a guitar amp or just chuck it?

Sell it on ebay, t won't sound good on a guitar.

Think about it; Solid State, no Input Jack, no output jack, no EQ.

Does it really make a difference?

It's like asking if you can use a book as a salami sandwich.

Lol I'm not asking what I should do with it, just if it's do able. I'm guessing its not, because half of you are smartasses. If I wanted smartassery I'd go to e/b/aums. Most are good though.

Thanks
