Well, I do like Iron Maiden but like Ive been trying to say, it is only my opinion that his voice is horrible. I wasnt trying to detract from anyone who actually likes this band as I recognize that they write pretty good music. Those other two guys that flamed me for stating this are the only reason that I became hostile.

Im actually going to see these guys...they open for Trivium on October 10th in New York Nokia theater. I'll probably enjoy them live since I've heard they are a good live band. Anyone else going? Its The Crusade's official release day. I cant ****ing wait. If you do, I'll be the white kid with long brown hair with a Children of Bodom t-shirt (the one with the red reaper and blood all over the place and COBHC on the back).

^ I'm just saying there's a difference between whiney vocals and soaring vocals.

Yeah, Protest the Hero rock, I have Kezia and A Calculated Use of Sound. I want to see them at the Croation Cultural Centre with Trivium, but it's a school night and I might be too young to go

I just saw them live with Trivium (Trivium was awesome btw). They werent bad live cuz The vocalists mic volume was ****ed, I could barely even hear him over the guitars and bass.
The only thing I hated was the guy next to me singing in my ear...but thats not really their fault lol.

Yeah I don't really like PTH's vox... they seem to be a bit on the weaker side. Their music is pretty sweet though.

I'm going to that show, and it's all ages. By the sounds of it, you're not very far into high school, so therefore you're not learning anything important anyway. Rocking out should be your priority.

They are pretty good. (Actually the only song I've heard by them is Blindfolds Aside, but it was pretty good.) I'm going to check out some of their other stuff.

no that is exactly what they don't need

i love screaming but the clean vocal is what makes this band it adds something new to the genre

hmm, thats interesting...I would definently put COE on the top 5...Ascendancy a little lower...The Crusade is soooo much better.

But PTH...wow..
i saw them live and even tho rory was completly stoned they were killer. lol, he introduced "Blindfolds Aside" as "a song about ****ing everything that moves."

just look at my sig tho.

Sorry to break it to you man.

But .... The Crusade Is a peice of crap.

They attempted to steal metallica's sound

and the outcome was a terrible follow up record.
