Same here.

I just realized when I put Kezia on that it is one of the only albums I don't put on shuffle to listen to. I need to hear the songs in order because it's perfect that way.

Aye, Kezia is practically flawless as an album. From start to finish.

Lyrical genius. Kezia is actually dessert.

The first act details the cooking process from the point of view of the Cook Book. Held to rigorous tradition of the proper way of cooking.

The second act details the cooking process from the chef. He's conflicted about condemning the cake batter to the oven vs. eating it right now.

The third act is the point of view of the cake itself, burning in the oven. This can be shown by the lyrics "Maybe someday when, when the strawberry cake is fried. No more stomachs are still hungry, no more children have to cry." Kezia, a strawberry shortcake, has given herself for the birthday party.

The last song is an overview from the child that ate the cake's perspective.

I so wanted you to say "The last song is just the icing on top." Or some other bakery related pun.
