Have you listened to Tongue-Splitter, Dunsel, To Porter with Love, C'est la Vie, or Tapestry(dat solo)?

Yes, Scurrilous was bit weak but those were awesome and you can't deny that.

I love scurrilous. Probably not as much as Fortress (I still need to listen to Kezia a few more times, but it's definitely better than scurrilous). Don't try to argue with anyone on here about it, your opinion will be ignored.

C'est La Vie is a great song and To Porter With Love was alright, although it sounded kinda like Scale the Summit. The other ones haven't even made enough of an impression on me for me to remember them at all, apart from Dunsel, which is really weak except for the riff at the very end.

Acoording to them, The Reign of Unedning Terror is the hardest song. dafaq? It seems like the easiest song they've ever written.

Of course I've listened to it. I wouldn't sling around this opinion so adamantly without backing it up.

C'est La Vie is tight. Dunsel was pretty good but fell flat after repeat listens. Catchy start though, everything else is boring tapping.

Like, I'm already aware that PTH is technically proficient. You can be excessively skilled and still be boring, though.

Guess Rody is writing the lyrics again as said in the AMA on reddit.

Blake, I can tell you're upset even before you replied.

I was 50/50 when I posted that. I was like, either Rody did it and it's an anomaly or Sex Tapes is the exception to Arif.

So... the only way for writers to get better is to write. Maybe he's learned. They are aware of the criticism against his lyrics. Also, he contributed some things to Kezia, and we've been quoting that for the past week. Maybe we'll get lucky this time.

They did an AMA on Reddit today, among other things; Jaeda Kelly will be on the new album (and presumably every album in the future) and Rody will be writing the lyrics again. While I felt his songs as a whole were pretty damn good (Termites almost felt like an Arif song) I do miss Arifs writing, there's just something magic about it.

Also, Rodys favorite song to play live, Bone Marrow. Tim says the hardest song to play live is Reign of unending Terror.
