I can note some similarities at some points though. Mainly the guitar tone...

Yeah me too, but Sculptured has less of an emphasis on them.

I have to say the keyboards on Embodiment are incredible.

To me, Sculptured sounds like Pale Folklore Agalloch minus the black metal tendencies and major folk influence, with more experimenting thrown in. I still obviously prefer Agalloch though.

Judging from the songs from Apollo Ends on the Myspace, I can already conclude it's a hell of an album. All of the songs were great, I'll be downloading this bad boy pretty soon.

Yeah he really shows his technical side in this band, but there is no song structure lost for it.

I don't even compare the two bands.

They are completely separate in my head.

Yeah, they don't have a similar sound apart from the tone.

I compare his playing specifically, but I much prefer the atmosphere of Agalloch

I prefer Agalloch.

Sculptured are great at what they do, though, but Agalloch is more my style.

I think I prefer Agalloch as well. They're the band that whenever I listen to I can't stop thinking "Damn... This is the greatest band ever..."

That doesn't detract from Sculptureds amazingness though.
