Tomahawk

I just noticed that there was a lack of Tomahawk around here.

If you didn't know Tomahawk is a super group formed in 2000 with members:

Mike Patton - Mr Bungle/FNM
Duane Denison - Jesus Lizard
Kevin Rutmanis - Cows/Melvins - has recently departed
John Stanier - Helmet

They have 3 albums, more recent being released last year and if you haven't heard them i would check them out!

Wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomahawk_%28band%29

Various links to music -

God hates a coward -
Rape this day -
101 North -

Enjoy.

Holy ****! I was about to start a Tomahawk group. What's going on with them btw, they did zero touring for Anonymous. And why was Kevin kicked out?

Mit Gas is probably their best. Capt. Midnight is amazing.

I've been looking for a band that incorporates a Native American sound into their music granted its only on one album. What other bands if people know of any have that sound?

I had completely forgotten about this band until they put that new single out recently. Been listening to Tomahawk and Mit Gas today and remembering how awesome they are.

Same.

I love Tomahawk, heard they were releasing something this year but it's only hearsay...

Shit tits I haven't seen this thread since I was 15. I've been listening to a lot of Tomahawk and Mr. Bungle recently.

I've never heard of these guys but I'm intrigued. Will listen to some tunes in a bit.
