I visited Thailand about 3 weeks ago for around 2 weeks. The beaches were beautiful. I highly recommend Ko Tao or Ko Phi Phi. The entire trip cost me less than 3 grand.

I burned my shoulders today. Well they aren't burnt yet but they will be super painful tomorrow I can tell.

Oh and I bought an ice cream sandwich but it melted in under a minute

Sorry, you guys got too used to global warming.

And no I'm not one of those guys who takes Emmerich's work as fact. But it'd be naive to deny that winters in Ontario have gotten kinda lacking lately. This is just a return to form.

Skipping university classes, sitting on a bench in a park in front of the faculty building with your friends, enjoying the sun and a couple of cans of beer. The Suns rays touch your skin as a soft wind blows leaving you slightly chilled, but as it stops, it feels ever so warmer.

your testicles stick to your legs from the sweat that dries, and they start to itch, but more often than not you're in a situation where peeling them off your inner thighs would be frowned upon.

and in the few instances where the sweat doesn't dry into a super testicle adhesive, it chafes

A long time ago I got my shoulders burned so badly that I had to walk like a robot for three weeks and putting on a shirt was a living hell.

If it's freaking cold you can put on a jacket. If it's freaking warm you cant take off your skin...

Back in 7th grade I was at the lake all day and didn't use any sunscreen, got the worst burn ever. My shoulders were covered in water blisters. I couldn't even lay down in any position without pain. And to make things worse two days later I had finals.

Buddy, I moved out of Toronto to Melbourne. Things have been great weather wise. I've got a good and proper farmer's tan going on. I actually don't want to return in August because that'll mean one month of summer and back to fall then winter.
What sucks is that I haven't befriended any locals and I just hang out with a lot of other international students
They're cool and all but I want to expand my social circle. I'm lonely.

The sky is grey. I have been outside once so far, and i had to wear a winter coat. Such is life in England.

There's still snow here too, but I would always rather be cold than too hot.

Unfortunately I'm always too hot

You should read "The Cremation of Sam McGee" by Robert Service...

http://www.poetryfoundation.org/poem/174348

"And there sat Sam, looking cool and calm, in the heart of the furnace roar;
And he wore a smile you could see a mile, and he said: "Please close that door.
It's fine in here, but I greatly fear you'll let in the cold and storm—
Since I left Plumtree, down in Tennessee, it's the first time I've been warm
."

Yes, this. To the letter.

Also, we have this rather large stone pyramid in front of the faculty building that you can climb and look down upon the passing plebs. Sadly the last few days have been rainy.

Oh, and someone painted a Yugoslav flag near the very top so I affectionately call it Tito.
