My friend who owns a 6262 said you can literally get about ANY tone for ANY kind of music out of it with a couple of different stompboxes. That's why I decided this amp is for me. I wish somebody here owned a Bugera cab and could tell me what it sounds like.

Also, to answer the question of FischmungaXTR, V30's are a good all around speaker, and sound great for metal. Another good choice is the G12T-75. I'd put one of each in a 2x12, or two of each in an X pattern in a 4x12, though i do prefer Eminence speakers

just got my 333xl a couple days ago. i got the bugera cab. i love the cleans, not a HUGE fan of the crunch channel and less im in the mood for some older stuff, and the lead is awesome, but im still looking for the perfect tone. maybe i'll put pictures up in the next day or two...
if everything keeps working i'll be happy.. but my friend and bandmate bought one and his blew after a couple weeks, so i dont know about the reliability. im thinking about taking it back, but i know theres nothing out there with this kind of quality for the money... only option i was considering was the b-52 at-100.. but i like this amp a lot better for just about the same price. i just dont know how reliable it is...

Well, like I said, I've been conversing with techs and alot of the problems seem to be user error (after all, lots of t00b n00bs are picking them up). I know some of them may have randomly died, but it really sounds like fuse problems in most cases, or tubes. I wonder if they are putting the wrong fuses?!? Could explain it maybe. I'm not sure. But I keep pouring over mine, and it seems to be in tip top shape. And its gonna get new tubes The 6262 seems to be the one with the most issues as far as I can tell. Best of luck to ya dude!
To the 333/333xl owners, could someone give us a good description of the sounds and features. I have yet to see one, let alone play it!

well the 333xl has three channels:
clean crunch and lead each have their own individual eq with master volume, presence and reverb. its got a built in noise gate, a boost function (still trying to figure out exactly what it does, just appears to boost the volume) two guitar inputs for low gain and high gain comes with a footswitch with clean crunch lead and fx loop/boost oh and its also got these 'xl' buttons which changes how it sounds in lower frequencies. i like them turned on, but cant notice too much of a difference.

Mine suddenly started making this strange noise (kinda like static) and then blew the fuse. Blew a new fuse (same specs) right away. Probably tube problem? But meh, I don't know a thing about changing tubes, so I just sent it back and got a new one.

I will have my 6262 half stack delivered this Wed. or Thurs. I'm excited and worried all at the same time. I notice a lot of the messed up ones seem to be having power related issues. I have an excellent APC unit I'm going to be plugging mine into for power. I'm hoping this might at least help the situation a little bit. Maybe recommend that for others? They are kinda pricey at US$100 though...

I'd love to try a 333XL and I considered ordering one, but buying an amp from Germany that I've never played didn't seem like a good idea, especially with all the horror stories about the reliability going around. The clips on YouTube sounded awesome though.

For all those in the USA looking to order Bugera products here's the link to a very reputable dealer who has them in stock.

Thats definitely power tube failure. Tubes are easy to replace, the hardest part is setting the bias, but thats really easy if you have a multimeter and a bias probe.

Eurotubes sells the weber bias probe. You just put it on the bottom of a power tube, and connect it to your multimeter. Bob even has a how to video on the eurotubes page, although it is a little simpler on a Bugera because you do not need to remove the chassis, because the bias pot is on top

Anybody else order anything Bugera from American Musical Supply? Seems to be the only place in the states that carries/stocks Bugera.

Because I need something for studio work, and road work. Bugera would probably be for road work, since it's cheap and can be thrown around, and the Rm100 will stay in the studio.
