I've thought of that too actually. I mean they're all made up of living things, so who's to say it's not us?

Have you guys ever thought about where/how the universe ends? I mean there can't just be like a wall there or something, and if there was, what's on the other side? It can't just go on forever, how would that be possible? I thought of this once when my science teacher said something about how the universe is expanding, and a student asked "expanding into what".

Anyone else think that our version of science could just be completely wrong, like all the other civilisations that have lived on earth. Like we laugh at the people who used to think that the earth was in the centre of the universe because of course the sun is, but maybe people 200 years from now they'll laugh at us and say of course it's pluto.

Also, i thought that no civilisation on any planet will ever, or has ever travelled in space, because they've all wiped themselves out before this point like we are with global warming.

on time i gave a 15 minute speech on exestentialism to my 17 year old cousin. at the end of the speech i asked him: "do you ever feel sometimes that this world around us may not be what it seems to be? do you ever wonder if the world we see isnt truly real? that its just a projection of our mental image of the way we understand things to be. do you ever wonder if this world doesnt even exist?" he slowly said yeah. then i stiffly punched him in the arm and said "its real BITCH!"

I had (and still have) a fear that assassins were sent back from the future to hunt me down... Because in the future I will be a world leader you see and there will be those who oppose me...

I also thought there were chipmunks with hitting sticks after me.. They communicated with dancing flowers..

Oh and when I was little, since I lived on a property in the middle of nowhere I had no knowledge of all those mythical things I should be afraid of.. So therefore I was afraid of feral pigs and foxes.. Seeing as my Dad shot them, I assumed it was because they would come and try to take me in the night... So I'd hide from them before going to sleep..

And the last one I remember is being afraid that if i was alone i would be attacked by dinosaurs...

What I always think is how ****ed up and weird everythingn is.
Like, look at the world we live in and how we live, what we do, the things we use (like computers for example). Is the world we live in really precise and specific or is it just randomness?
I cant really explain myself properly, but i often just think WTF! why are there humans and why do we look the way we do, why do we play guitar or need to breath etc. If you think about it its so random and yet so specific at the same time.
ahh hopefully someone will understand me.

Another thing that freaks me out is this: look at your hands, like really examine them and think about them as if they were alien hands. I start to look at myself completely differently (sort of how an alien would percieve what we look like).

I rly hope im not the only one who thinks like this...

I think about how people perceive things as "normal". Like if someone was just born an saw a completely "alien" face, would he think that was normal for the rest of his life?
What if that baby was kept in a completely different environment than ours; an artificial environment created for the sake of an experiment - would he think that was then normal - Or does the fact that you're human mean that you know what "normal" is to a human?

That relates to what other life forms on other planets would be like. Would they even have the same senses as us? Would they have completely unknown senses and body parts?
What would be ''normal'' to them?

And yeah I have similar thoughts to some of you.
