they're good. pretty fun live band, even if they are hilariously unprofessional etc etc.

last time i saw them they were supported by http://www.myspace.com/mimas who people should always check out. mimas are pretty different i guess, more down tempo i guess, but they're really good too, and if you like ttng you may well like them.

One of the best bands I've discovered recently.

Animals is definitely one of my favorite releases of the year.

i was disappointed by animals. it lacks the melody and unity of their earlier stuff. it feels like a lot of widdle without a lot of good melody, and that style of music thrives on having good melodies.

I discovered this band through a different forum only recently and they're fast becoming one of my favourite bands.

This was sent to me in a music group in another forum I post in and I gotta say I wasn't overly impressed by it. Technique wise it was amazing, very well timed, but I dunno, just lacked something for me.

New favorite band. Found them from another forum.

Great band. Found out about them in a short review by Alternative Press actually.

Funny how a little publicity goes a long way....

there are two of these threads O_O

TTNG are amazing. In my top 10 for sure. At the moment It's Not True Rufus Don't Listen to the Hat is one of my favourite songs ever. Animals is great too, but I'm interested to see if their next release features more epic moments like the end of Rufus or Wanna Come Back to My Room and Listen to Some Belle and Sebastian.

i would love to see them live. according to their facebook though they probably won't make it to the US til next year. and even then I doubt they'll come to the midwest :/

I like them. Saw them last year and they were good. Not heard anything except Animals though.

I just bought their tab book online.
"Babboon" is intimidating as hell for someone of my level.
Their guitarist is so unique. Two capos at once (one's a banjo capo that only covers 4 strings). It's rad.

They can be at times. I've got to be in the right mood to listen to them. They're soothing.

It angers me that generic recycled post rock and indie pop can get almost unanimously praised and hyped while these guys, a boundlessly creative, emotional, and genuine group, completely focused on their fans and spreading beautiful music to the masses, can be unfairly overlooked and passed off as another dull Kinsella imitation. They're so much more than that, imo.

Actually, I found out about these guys from some comment on an american football video. I checked these guys out, thinking Im going to find something unique.... I enjoy their music, but they are no big unique break thru in music.
