True. Bayless is a very good player, as well as Jarrett Jack and T.J Ford. They might be closer to playoff contention this year.

Baron Davis is the biggest bitch. We loved him here in the bay but if you opt out of a contract with the Warriors to go to the CLIPPERS, you know you're a ****ing ******. I'm sorry to use such language, but he's a bitch. I can't wait til the Clippers come to town.

Hasn't it been proven lately that fake tits are more real than the NBA?

grizzlies finally decided to actively participate in this years draft and go after some big names. at first i was pissed they took kevin love. i really have no faith in him as a quality player. sure hes big, but thats it. hes awkward with the ball, not a very good shooter, and extremely slow.
but it turned out memphis knew what they were doing and scored with OJ MAYO! really looking forward to see them next season - finally theres a new reason to actually go to the games and see them |

Chicago should've gotten Beasley(sp?), because they are in need of some decent forwards. Joakim Noah just won't cut it. Oh well, at least Derrick Rose might be better than Hinrich. Just think of it, Rose and Gordon at the backcourt...

Yeah. Hopefully Mayo isn't a hype player when it comes to the NBA. And thanks for Pau Gasol, even though he played like a bitch in the finals.

Which is the only place it matters Sorry, i'm just one of those people that wants anyone in the NBA to win the finals just as long as they aren't wearing a Laker jersey.

i am so happy for derrick rose! i am a huge University of Memphis fan, and was really thrilled to see Rose go number 1. This seems like a dream pick for Chicago (in my own opinion of course) - they grab one of the most exciting, fast paced, and lethal players to come around in years. Rose grew up in Chicago, repped number 23 at Memphis, and finally gets to play for his hometown team. |

heh, yeah Laker fans are used to that. But Gasol needs to lift some weights or something cause he was getting beasted by Perkins, who's 2-3 inches shorter than him. Plus, 7 feet, and you're that close to the basket, you dunk that goddamn ball, you don't try to lay it in.

i pretty much shat a brick when memphis traded pau for ****in KWAME BROWN and co. Every year, the grizzlies just seem to get rid of their franchise players and make the most god awful trades/decision ever. We got rid of Jason Williams and James Posey who proceeded to win the championship with Miami the next year. Got rid of Shane Battier (really the heart of the team) and hes still producing big time. And Pau. Trade away arguably the best player on the team (albeit not up to his potential) for NOTHING?!?!?! if the lakers had won the chamionship with gasol, the entire city would have been in an absolutely uproar and probably demanded the resignations of some of the management edit: though yes, i must admit, gasol is a bit of a pussy. so much falling on the ground, flailing, refusing to really post up hard, and all around being a bitch haha |

Ya but in Gasol's defense, Perkins is a ****ing beeeeeeast. He's a scary looking man, i'm convinced he's killed someone in his life lol Gasol and Yao Ming should wrestle. I'm not really interested in who would win, more of who would lose

Yeah. When he first came here he was excellent; he blended in with the triangle offense perfectly, posting up, making great passes, etc., leading to a 17-3 record with a little slump near the end, then the playoffs rolled around and his game went downhill And true about that trade, and the others as well. Battier is an excellent defender, as well as Posey, who just happened to win another title with Boston.

Posey does not get NEARLY enough credit for his role in the championship. You hear a ton about the big 3, and rightfully so, but Posey hit the big shots when it seemed like nobody else wanted to.

True. I'd have Posey start on my team any day. He shut down Kobe, which is a daunting task, but like you said, he stepped up when Allen slumped, and Pierce would have a rare off night.
