Pictures of Mah Rig!!!
I really enjoyed the "Sexiest Amp" thread, and now its dead. Since we all know we only come here for the pictures, post some pics of your amp, guitar, pedals, or all three. Sorry I don't have mine here, first off all I have is a crappy cell phone pic of my amp, and second its a Peavey Windsor and I just can't take another thread bashing them and their looks.

No thread police please, can we just have a good time here. Half of you UGers just come on here to talk down to fifteen year olds... Overbearing wives I suppose.
Anyways nice set up daniel, I love the see through cage on the amp. Although I think I'm most jealous of your pile of picks!

haha they're all blunt! ![]() thanks, i was thinking of getting a bogus logo for the front of the amp, like maybe a Soldano badge (the rectifier in the amp was designed by soldano apparently)

The PCB layout was done by Mike Soldano. Anyway, I'd either leave it logo-less or rock the stock logo. There's nothing wrong with Epiphone. EDIT: Now that I think about it, actually putting Mike Soldano's name on the PCB probably generated a good bit of sales for the So-Cal. Not long after it was released there was a big thread on some forum or another and it wasn't long before several people purchased one seemingly only on account of the name association. But to be clear, Soldano has done amp designs for several other companies (most famously the Yamaha T series amps). Though just about everything in an amp affects the tone in one way or another the PCB layout itself has less to do with tone and more to do with making efficient use of space and making sure the amp has no shorting or grounding problems.

Figured I would pan the whole room to show the full extent of the gear and work area. Enjoy.....
Full Rig Close up of amps in stereo Workbench and tool box area (partially see the window sound proofing) Guitar workbench (modifed desk I built) And the last shot of the area including the my current rig and recording stuff. And all the wood working power tools, air compressor, airbrush, spray gun and all that good stuff is out in the garage...

Hey, IbanezPsycho, nice rig.
I was wondering how well that sound proofing worked? I was thinking about doing something similar at my place. What materials did you use? |

Thanks... Its those thick foam mats you use in workout rooms or garages all snaped together and mounted over the window. It made a pretty big improvement and was a cheap alternative to something like closed cell vinyl-nitrile noise control foam.
