CCs aren't on specific forums. We clean up the comments on the articles on the main page. So we don't really do anything on the forums.

They're actually pretty good. And from New Brunswick, about an hour from where I live. A lot of bands come out of that area it seems...

Just noticed this thread and I must post in it.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant band.

Got my tickets to see them on the 3rd of December with a mate.

'59 Sound
I think I prefer Sink or Swim though, but that's just because "We're Getting A Divorce, You keep The Diner" is all kinds of awesome.

Yeah, it's a pretty awesome scene. Check out some shows over there when you get a chance, cool stuff going on.

I finally got the '59 Sound. I love the songs, but I'm not too happy with the production. Whose idea was it to turn down all the distortion, make the guitars so quiet, and throw so much reverb/delay on the guy's vocals? It's produced like a damn pop album.

Sink or Swim was my first one, so I was not expecting that at all.

Yeah it's alittle over done, but overall I think it's a fantastic album.

i've not heard much by this band so i checked their myspace and came to conclusion that the singer sounds like a cross between brandon flowers and matt skibba.

He sounds like a cross between Glenn Danzig and Dickie Barrett.

i really like their sound overall, but to me, alot of their songs run together... sound the same. I only have sink or swim though which is good, but just sounds the same, when i previewed 59 sound, it sounded pretty boring.

"Film Noir" is my favorite song on the '59 Sound right now.

Everyone on vinylcollective obsesses over these guys. It's insane the amount of people who collect every different variation of everything they put out. Good band though, I'm listening to The 59 Sound right now.

Saw them headline in Dallas, right before they went on this tour with Rise Against and Thrice. It was awesome. I didn't want them to get off the stage, ever.
