J-Metal
I looked around and haven't find any J-metal thread so i figure i make one.

J-Metal imp the best kind metal of all since it not just mindless scream or shred but it is very melodic. Here some well know metal band and guitarist incase someone never even heard of J-Metal

Would be my list off the top of my head.

I don't like all the flowery pop-metal/shred style stuff thats coming out of Japan all that much(allot of the stuff op mentioned is not so bad though). But while small, the extreme metal scene their is full of great bands.

I'm assuming you have yet to listen to the band I posted. If you listened to just the first 30 seconds of track 1 you'd see why they are scary.

The only J-metal bands I've really heard of is some anime metal band and this weird band (Rock though, I think) that dresses up like women (Called Malice Mizer or something. Honestly, they take the whole "on-stage makeup/ corpsepaint" image to a whole new level ).

that style call VK (Visual Key). there tons of band follow this VK style, in fact if u watch video of hizaki in my first post. the person play race wish song in red dress actually is a dude
