Is that a FT?

I just ask because it has a LP control layout.

How can you tell it's not a FT?

And the US Eclipses had that layout for a little bit before Gibson threw a fit.

All FT are Eclipse I CTM models which meant they had a non see thru finish until this year anyway and had an ebony fretboard too along with a bunch of other minor differences.

Ah touche though the only off the top of my head would be Distressed one though and not with a Quilt maple top (until this year) but I could be wrong.

edit: Current FT models though there is still one a Eclipse I CTM FT with a quilt maple top but that's out this year.

Hey dudes. I've got a quick question that I didn't really want to start a whole thread for, so hopefully someone here can help me out. I recently tried out an EC-1000 at a music store, and I absolutely LOVED the neck. My problems with the guitar were that it didn't feel very comfortable to me sitting down and that I couldn't reach the highest frets very well. I was hoping someone would know if ESP has a superstrat-style guitar that has a similar neck to the EC-1000, preferably neck-through instead of bolt-on. I don't know if this is a really obvious question or not, I don't get to try out a lot of ESPs because the nearest guitar center doesn't carry them.

Thanks for any help.

Almost all ESP's and LTD's have the same neck style, the Thin-u

just take a look at their current line: http://espguitars.com/guitars.html
there should be enough guitars with a 42mm nut and a Thin-u neck.

don't hate the ESP bolt-ons though, from what I've heard they are very solid with still some great access due to not having one big block of wood, but one at an angle

Hi again, How much do you think I would be able to sell my ESP/ LTD MH 401 for? I'm thinking of selling it and buying a Jackson DKMGT (Sorry guys lol).

You can see it in the link of my sig, it's in the exact same condition still, not chips or dents, all working fine

My ESP Mirage circa mid-1990s, now fitted with a Bare Knuckle Painkiller in the bridge, a DiMarzio Blue Velvet in the middle and a Bare Knuckle Painkiller bridge in the neck, all not pictured D:

This guitar plays like a dream. Ash body, extremely light.

Weill be posting up an NGD soon with a detailed review.

My little F-50 is a sweet player, I've even gigged with it before. I'd like to save up for either a V-401dx or an MH-1000

I've searched around the forum and I haven't found any threads about this guitar

I've been thinking of getting a LTD H-401FM, the blue finish really caught my eye. I'd try it out of I had the chance, but I've hardly any guitar shops near me that have it I can't find it on the ESP website too...

In any case, does anyone own this guitar/have played it in the past? What are your views on it?

I picked up a little korean LTD M-10 from the pawn shop....f-in amazing considering it's a "beginner" guitar. Love the neck and setup and just is all around comfortable for me. Already replaced pups with GFS crunchys

I plan to get sell off a tele and an Agile and get another ESP..... I really didn't look into them at first as I don't play metal, glad i found that one
