^^^ I loooove all the lines in that. Hm the only thing I can say is bad about it is all the grey. Maybe more contrasting tones?

Hmm, need a bit of help. My Canon IXUS v3 has finally died (according to canon-asia.com it's a problem with the CCD) needless to say it will be cheaper to replace it, that and I've wanted a new camera for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages.
My dad originally spent £300 on the old camera (it was brand new and hi-tech at the time xD) so we're probably looking at a budget of £300-£500. He's also very partial to Canon cameras. My dads pretty fussy about picture quality too, I just want something with a manual mode I can play about with. Can anyone recommend some cameras within that price range?
