Sweep Pick Help (5 Strings)
I found that I was able to sweep 5 strings easier after doing this practice - take the 5 string arpeggio you want.
E---------13h-17p-13--------
B-------15----------15------
G-----14--------------14----
D---15------------------15--
A-17----------------------17
E
Now, instead of sweeping, alternate pick each note 3 times and do the hammer-on and pull-off 3 times.
E----------------------------------13h-17p-13h|
B-------------------------15-15-15------------|
G-----------------14-14-14--------------------|
D---------15-15-15----------------------------|
A-17-17-17------------------------------------|
E---------------------------------------------|

-17p-13h-17p-----------------------------------
------------15-15-15---------------------------
---------------------14-14-14------------------
------------------------------15-15-15---------
---------------------------------------17-17-17
-----------------------------------------------
Use an away, toward, away, then sweep to the next string and continue. Do that until you can do it decently, then try to sweep at a slow pace.

This is the only way I learned how to sweep pick. Sweeping is a very hard technique, if you cant do it on your first try, don't give up. It took me 6 months before I could play Falling In Reverse solos.
