hmm... i like the fact that you put some practice solos on this page, but don't you think you should have put the scales that you would be using first, so as to let people know what they are doing? Still, if you know what scales they are, then these solos make a lot of sense, and i like them. However, in the event that you do another article w/ solos, you might wanna add the original scale first. I will give it 5 stars, though
It probably would have been more usefull to tell about the scales used to make these licks instead of just the licks. I have no problems with those licks, but its all just kind of random. Review the pentatonic scale with blues notes, etc. 2 stars.
hey the readers of lesson 2 of this series were looking for these licks. has anybody seen the scales? I thought they might be in here. I guess I'll go look in lessons 4 and 5.
why is the name of this lesson blues scales? these are just derived solos riffs from scales. you didnt even tell what key they were in. this would confuse the crap out of a bigginer. If your going to call something scales. at least you could put the scale pattern beside the lick or tell what key its in.
Some nice licks, but not overly helpful. What key are they in? What scale are they using? Intermediate players can work this out, but what about those new to theory and guitar?
