In the previous lesson, I showed you some warm up and synchronisation excer-
cises that help you to improve the coorperation of your hands. You should do those excercises at the beginning of every practice. When you have done that for 5-10 minutes, you can continue with the next couple of practice stuff.
The first lick is a pull-off lick played in Triplets. The structure is very easy: You pick one note on the string, then pull of to the note under that note (in the scale) and then pull off to the open E string.
p=pull off

E-3p2p0-3p2p0-3p2p0-5p3p0-I-7p5p0-7p5p0-7p5p0-5p3p0-I

A variation of this lick, played over an Am Chord:
Am
E-8p5p0-8p5p0-8p5p0-10p7p0-I-12p8p0-12p8p0-12p8p0-10p7p0-I

G--------------------------I-----------------------------I
D--------------------------I-----------------------------I
A--------------------------I-----------------------------I
E--------------------------I-----------------------------I
The second lick is played over an Am chord, but it's still in E minor. But you can also use it in the key of A minor. The next lick is completely picked. It's an ascending E minor sequence and similar to the first lick. Here I play sixteenth notes.
E-3-2-0-0-5-3-0-0-7-5-0-0-8-7-0-0-I-10-8-0-0-12-10-0-0-14-12-0-0-15-14-0-0-I
B---------------------------------I----------------------------------------I
G---------------------------------I----------------------------------------I
D---------------------------------I----------------------------------------I
A---------------------------------I----------------------------------------I
E---------------------------------I----------------------------------------I
Important: use alternate picking!
The next lick is one of my favourite licks. It's a repeating lick with hammer ons and pull offs. I use it very often. It's also played in sixteenth notes.
h=hammer on P=pull off
E-15p12h14p12h15p12h14p12h15p12h14p12h15p12h14p12-I

E-------------------------------------------------I
That's it. I think you will learn the licks very easily. The next lesson will be about easy multiple string licks. I hope this lesson was helpful. Goodbye.
anyways, great job beatrocker, keep it up
