I find that part very amusing, basses have a lot more sustain than most guitars, especially the D and G strings.

does it not mean that the emg hz's are part of the esp sb-4 pickup set.as inn instead of having to say all the shite in every review, esp sb-4 covers the whole pickup set.to be honest thats a while guess seeing as im not the biggest pickup pro in the world.

i bought an F-204 which was the older model of this bass, that came with EMG-HZ's. i enquired when i bought it and the bloke at my store said the differences between the 204 and 254 was the change from a bolt-on neck to neck-through-body and ESP SB-4's, but they didn't have a 254 for me to check out so i'm not certain.
EMGs are better imo for what its worth
