Too bad they didn't talk any gear, tone and effects and such. Not that I don't care about his father and all that, but to me the biggest treat when hearing a new EJ record for the first time is figuring out which settings he used to achieve a certain tone on each song, however subtle the changes may be

The combination of his tone and technique easily place him in my all time top 5

Anyway I always loved Johnson's music, his tone, his skill, his playing is so smooth and has a pretty decent voice for singing too, a truly musician.

Different batteries most definitely WILL produce different tones from the same pedal. Look it up, it's pretty interesting.
