I love this cd. One of my favorites. I think this the reason this is original is because he is already famous. He doesn't need to worry about appealing to mainstream. This is just him expressing himself. I think this album is more drum driven than guitar driven, not to say the drums are pounding and loud. They just keep the beat of the song more than the guitar. I love all these songs but I think Dirty and Left Out, Southern Weather and Drive There Now are by far the best. I can't wait for the new album coming out this year.
POSTED: 03/12/2009 03:19pm

listen to the drumming on this album. its phenominal. so is his singing. guitar and bass on the album kinda suks but it makes a good overall sound.

And i totally agree about the lyrics. christian lyrics shouldn't just be about how cool God is.. it should really mean something and be delivered as such.
POSTED: 03/12/2009 07:56pm

You down the album by comparing it to Underoath, as if it were intended to sound similar. Obviously that wasn't the intent.
I'm sorry for not being clear, but I enjoy this album more than the Underoath albums. So I really wasn't trying to put the music down, and I apologize for not being clear.
POSTED: 04/25/2009 07:46pm
