I don't think Metallica's record contracts actually give them that much of album sales. Lars was mad on principle, and he was right. Of course, all of my Metallica stuff is pirated or watched on youtube, so that shows how that worked, huh?

Seriously, I can say that, as a fan, I actually like the idea that this Beatles fan/pub owner decorated his pub in honour of the Fab Four, and whether or not there's a connection in the name, it was called Lennon's.

This was needless and is more of a detriment to John's legacy than having a damn pub with his name on it and his face in it would be.

Not entirely correct. George invited John to play but said he didn't want Yoko to perform, this annoyed John and so he didn't perform. First time George met Yoko he was rude to her.

Also, Yoko did not split the Beatles. Yes, she was a contributer, but so was Linda. So was the fact they couldn't agree on a manager to replace Epstein. Paul and George were bickering because Paul was becoming more controlling in the studio and writing Georges guitar parts for the songs that he wrote. John was coming in for a load of shit for his political views and the fact that he married an asian woman. In the end, they all wanted to do their own thing. To blame a single woman for the break up of a band is lazy and unoriginal.

As for saying John was controlled by Yoko, that's a pretty presumptious comment. John was insecure and needy and wanted to be loved. Hardly Yokos fault.

John and Yoko loved each other. That's all there is to it. People can whine all day long about Yoko and her flaws but we all have flaws, including John who was no angel by any means.

One final thing, before i'm labelled as a Yoko lover or something, i'm merely pointing out the facts. I don't agree with her actions regarding this article but I certainly wouldn't wish her dead. And those who claim to be Lennon/Beatles fans who do wish her dead....well...to quote the man himself - "How do you sleep?"

Funny thing is all I could think about during Yoko's part was Bill Cosby's rendition of "Get out of my Life, Woman".
