lol yours probably sucks. Other than that it probably sucks cause 1/5 of the bronze bc rich guitars suck.

my friends broke after a few months, and although i have had a few problems with my epi, i would choose it over a B.C Rich any day, it looks just as nice

price has nothing to do with a good guitar, i know tons of guitars that are less than $1,000 that are excellent guitars, but i agree B.C. riches are some of the ugliest , worst sounding guitar's i've heard

The only bc rich lines anyone should think of buying is NJ and up...
And of the "bronze, silver, gold, or platinum" are utter shit.
cheap wood, cheap pickups, cheap craftsmanship, the list goes on.

I own a warlock, the action is ****ing perfect for me but there are lots of things I could think of to make it better. this one looks and sounds pretty awesome but I'd prefer an ESP personally

So, I have this guitar, 2006 Widow headstock, NO TREMOLO BECAUSE A BRONZE SERIES DOESN'T COME WITH TREMOLO hence why it says BRONZE series review for all you geniuses there who wrote about NJ series ones. This guitar can take a beating and still stay tuned and in 1 piece. I use a Boss Me-50 along with a Peavey Rage 108 Transtube practise amp. I have never found any problems with my guitar and it still sounds better than half the Ibanez and Gibsons that my friends paid thousands of dollars for, and I'm talking about the actualy guitar to amp sound not the synthesized sound. So think whatever the hell you want, it's your money, if you want it, get it, I promise that you won't regret it. If you hate it then shut up, get the f**k out of this review listing. Enough said.

One of the very few guys who's made sense in this forum. Thanks dude. I own a bronze and it was dam cheap. But i got what i paid for and i have no complains.

And now for my fellow commentors. Seems to me there's very little actual debate and opinion here. Everytime I see the comments on a reveiw here it has a lot of pure fanboys and those that just hate and don't back anything up. Ignorance abounds.

I've owned mine for about 3 years and it's still in great condition. I think it's whoever owns the guitar that says it's falling apart must not treat there possessions very well.

In my opinion this is a decent guitar for it's price, looks and playability. I wouldn't consider this a "beginner" guitar, thats just like saying any guitar is a beginner guitar. ~ zeptallica06.

I have played a sammick warlock and a BC rich warlock, and I find that the sammick sounds way better, plays better, and feels more reliable.

i have a BC Rich... 3 actually, and every time me and my friend jam, he ends up using one of my warlocks because his Jackson sounds like a total piece of crap. If you want an awesome guitar, you will buy a BC Rich Warlock. It has killer sound and looks to match.

The pickups are VERY hot, and come setup from the factory raised super high, for great squeals. The neck is VERY suited to fast leads also, and the action is typically set up nice and low. It's a great palm-mute chugging guitar, for it's price.

I played one and liked it, except I want something a little higher up the quality scale. But if I had a 13 year old son wanting to get into Candlemass, Slayer, Megadeth (I can only dream!), then this would be an easy purchase. That or a Kerry King V.

Is it a great guitar for anyone who has plaid for more than a few years? Not really. But the cool thing about BC Rich's, is that they are metal guitars, but they have a classic look, so you won't look too weird playing Eric Clapton in between Slayer and Danzig.

The Bronze Warlock is definitely a good beginner's guitar, and I LOVE the body shape.

I've always had a thing against bc rich cuz THEY SUCK, the only good thing they have is the sweet shapes and colors(but even the finish blows)
You want a sweet guitar, get the esp/ltd AX260 or AX400 cuz its light, has a great feel and a great sound and looks sweet (except the black finish shows every f**kin smudge and fingerprint) the low action makes even a beginner like me sound great!!!

the BC rich warlock is far from my favourite guitar... i had the chance to try one out for a while when my best friend bought one, and im glad i had that chance, because this really is a beginner's guitar.

the people who said "this is the best guitar for metal i've ever seen"... for looks? maybe.. for sound? get a clue. i'd give it an 8/10 if you get it for a good deal (>200).

after i finally decided on the Ibanez JS1000, i could never play a warlock.

P.S. I agree with Exxol. Until I had bought my RGR321EX i was...'content' with my Warlock Bronze (besides the whole...you know things falling off stuff). As soon as i played my Ibanez i instantly wanted to burn my old Warlock. It's really that bad.

No, there's a difference. Squiers ARE entry-level guitars and that's what they're supposed to be. B.C. Riches try to be above entry-level, but they either suck or are overpriced until you get to the 800-ish range and above.

its only got one space for pickups well i would say an emg 85 then because thats what is used for plack label society but i duno weather it can produce the screech that you want and they kill batteries

Sure, you may find the guitar wonderful, but I can tell you right now that there's no way anyone who seriously puts some thought into these reviews would give this guitar a 10 out of 10 on all of five aspects.

Absolutely no way, the guitar is low priced and has low quality wood, that alone makes it max 9.5 and that's if every other detail on the guitar was absolutely flawless.

The sound of a telecaster versus a Les Paul is completely different. Les Pauls are extremely dense, resulting in a natural added amount of sustain that the strats don't have. I personally think LPs are much more versitile as well. I've seen metal played on a strat, its possible, but not as well as on an LP. Gibson les pauls are overpriced, but thats because of the name gibson, the LP body shape however is ina lot of different company's and is one of the easiest shapes to play with

do they suck? no... the price you pay for them is NOTHING compared to great guitars such as esp's, fenders and gibsons so the quality cannot be compared aswell.

AGREED HEAVILY! this guitar BLOWS! I have it and the neck pickup is DEAD, this guitar is piece of sh*t. If you want quality go for ESP's, Epiphone and Gibsons, top of the line Ibanez's, etc. BC Rich sucks! the ONLY good BC Rich i tried was the king V that came with EMG pickups. That's it.
