i own a br43 and am thinking about selling it. Ever since it opened up the tone is really bland. THe br240 looks good with a greven pickguard on it. Just because the pickguard is ugly doesn't mean you can't change it with a 50W lightbulb and a better looking one.
POSTED: 02/18/2008 03:01pm

Blueridge guitars sound great. Almost identical in many cases to their counterpart Martin played with the same strings. Not 10/10 by any means but well worth the money if you're not concerned about buying a brand name, unlike Martins. That pickguard is definitely questionable, but much more retarded are the opinions of people rating the guitar down to a 4.6 because of it. Someone mentioned they wanted sound clips so I'll do you one better with side by side comparisons:

I own a BR-140. I don't have a problem with the way they look as some do. Blueridges may not look fancy, but they sound amazing! They're a very good guitar at a very affordable price. I thought your review was very helpful for some who don't know much about Blueridges.
POSTED: 07/13/2009 10:15pm
