Eluveitie's rythmic riffs are mostly taken from In Flames and Dark Tranquillity songs. On Slania I even managed to sing a DT and an INF songs along the CD and it worked perfectly. Well my growls suck incredibly but rythmically it was exactly the same thing.

BTW if you never checked out Dark Tranquillity, do it, it's an awesome band which quite never disappointed, while IF isnt what it was and At the Gates does not exist anymore. DT's latest live kicks ass, the sound is perfect.

I'l name you 5 melodeath bands that sound nothing like each other: Amon Amarth, Scar Symmetry, Barren Earth, Devildriver (to an extent) and of course DIssection. and 'ignant'? Lawl Only reason I compared Eluveitie to DT is because the vocal style, guitar tone, and drum patterns are the same. But yeah, they are pretty far apart.
