However, it truly is a great amp. I get some awesome sounds out of it , the trick is to NOT use the second gain dial. and to get the tone out, turn up the VOLUME, not the gain. and fiddle around with the E.Q.
POSTED: 07/22/2006 08:38pm

I have one of these amps and I don't see why people are impressed with them. There are no built in effects, they hiss when the gain is turned up especially on Channel 1 and the reverb may as well not be there. One good thing is that you can piggy back it onto another amp using the line out socket but apart from that, its not got a lot going for it!
POSTED: 02/14/2010 03:38pm

The newly added review, submitted by unregistered , is completely rubbish. Not because it throws straight 10s to a rather mediocre amp, but because the reviewer doesn't seem to know a thing about how the amp is actually working: all his remarks are cliches.
I think such reviews should be banned, because they don't say a thing.
POSTED: 11/05/2011 05:06am

Because Marshall has delocated production to Far East and seems more interested to sell crap to fools, instead of selling amps to players.
POSTED: 11/05/2011 05:07am

It has 7 channels? Great!
Really, this is one of the worst sets of review I've reaad. I've played a couple of these amps, and for the price, it's not great. The reviewers don't seem to know anything about amps.
I agree with 'rv_phoenix', they just seem to be using cliches about amps in general.
Godpfshred mentioned, if you have £200, get this amp. That's terrible advice. If you had £200, there are plenty of solid states better than this, let alone a decent tube amp. I really can't stress how terrible these reviews are.
POSTED: 01/02/2012 01:00pm
