 I dunno, I've got a soft spot for a lot of his poop stuff. You have to remember that he was pretty much forced by his record label to make pop songs during the eighties. While I certainly wouldn't say his pop stuff is to the same standard as his prog stuff, many of his tunes were as well written and catchy as asny ABBA song. Check out 'Get To France' if you don't believe me. <br />

 But you're right, it is a shame how little his 70s stuff is recognised. I still think he's one of the greatest guitarists Britain ever produced, and his playing on albums like Ommadawn and Incantations was well ahead of its time.<br>POSTED: 05/02/2011 02:23pm]]></description>
