Works great with the Boss ODB-3. You might wanna use the bridge pickup though.

i have played an Epiphone Viola bass and a Tanglewood copy of it (i forget what it's called exactly)just to see what they were like..personally i prefer the tanglewood, it sounds a lot closer to the Hofner when distorted, the epiphone doesnt distort well at all, but both of them sound savage clean..... just no way as awesomely savage as the Hofner Ignition \m/
