My band's other guitarist uses this drive and its incredible for the price. He's a veritable OD/Fuzz junky with loads of boutique and expensive ODs and this one is his mainstay OD pedal, hands down. I've seen lots of pedals come and go but this one has held its place longer than all but a select few pedals on his board.
If you're into overdrives, GET IT.
POSTED: 01/13/2012 08:20am

A definite goer! I bought the vintage phase for $35, and the "cork sniffers" probably wouldnt be able to tell the difference between a Script and mine!!
POSTED: 01/14/2012 12:16am

As much as this pedal and the phase are great, I've lined up the phase with my CSP 74 Phase 90 and theres a definite difference. The MXR is warmer and has a nicer sweep pattern, I think. But dont let that stop you getting the phase! its brilliant on a budget.
POSTED: 01/15/2012 03:40am

Bought this to give my loved but ageing Marshall Bluesbreaker mk1 pedal a rest (it was also introducing a lot of noise into the pedal chain while on mains).

This pedal is amazing, smooth and pleasing, and the controls give a lot of different sound textures. Tbh I'd have paid double for this and still thought I'd got a bargain! The Harley Benton version is going for less than £25!

This quality of this pedal shows just how much we guitarists are being ripped off by so called 'boutique' pedal manufacturers....
POSTED: 02/01/2013 02:29am
