Hmmm...i dont think you can count any tube ss amps because an ss amp is not a tube amp (not counting hybrids but thats another story)

This is a great amp, for $400 its better than any tube amp of that price and just as good if not better than most other comprable SS amps.

Oh well, it still sounds really good, even if i'm gonna need a noise gate now. and its still incredibly loud, that guy who said you could blow the roof off your house with one of these wasn't kidding. besides, i'd been planning on getting a distortion pedal to go with the amp anyway. i also like how the bass isn't overpowering like the line 6 spider 3 amps, its actually pretty subtle. if my old one sounds this good, the new ones must be incredible!

It's a really great amp I would highly recommend it!

you are wrong beyond your wildest dreams. Marshall MG is a bad representation of marshall amps, it is a disgrace to the name. Roland Cube 60 is by far the best solidstate amp you can buy.

And why do you think the one tube that VOX has does anything with the sound? Cubes have no tubes. The sound doesn't depend on if it has one tube or no tubes. It depends on the digital modeling technology. Maybe the Cube uses better technology than VOX. And it's everybody's own opinion which sounds better.
