yes, I own it, bought it at guitar center for ~$400. It is an awesome guitar. I play mostly metal and other non-soft rock. Also some solo guitar. great finish; I got the red which is shiny and beautiful.

i would highly recommend the gryphon over the omen 6, the omen is just a basic guitar and is in my opinion pretty crappy, the gryphon is far more versatile

definately. the omen 6 has a basswood body, but the gryphon is mahogany with a maple top, which is by far superior
