you can always go out and buy a cheap chorus pedal. i guess marshall didnt see the point of putting crappy onboard effects onto this one
POSTED: 02/09/2007 09:29pm

I've played alot of amps, owned by friends, aquaintances and my school. I own a crappy little accoustic solutions amp at the moment (i am getting rid of it for this amp within the month), i regularly use a marshall mg30dfx, which is good but could do with a bit more versatillity, and the other amp i use regularly is a stagg d30f (never get this, it sounds really tinny and flat and doesn't give much more than a fairly cheap 10 watter). Marshall for me every time, it's way better than the drive on fenders, although their clean is ace. From what i've heard, this gives them a run for their money, and i'm hoping to have an AVT50X next to my stand before Christmas.
POSTED: 11/23/2007 04:00pm

Built in effects ruin an amp too be honest, you cant take it seriously *cough* MG...
Just get a multieffects pedal for that use
the overdrive isnt exactly 'classic', more modern but you do get your marshall crunch!
POSTED: 04/11/2008 05:30pm

For Humbuckerrs-Try looking at all the companies you know such as Vox, Marshall etc. Just have a look around. If you're after metal then in that sort of price range is some of the Blackstar amps. They do everything really, including metal. Though if you're after power then I'm not too sure, as these sort of amps range from 1 watt to 5, In the price range that is.
POSTED: 02/21/2012 03:51pm
