A new batch of Download 2014 performers was recently announced, confirming Dillinger Escape Plan, Volbeat, Suicide Silence and reunited djent forefathers SikTh among the festival's fresh bands. As the official release reads, Buckcherry, Memphis May Fire, Battlecross, Jake E. Lee's Red Dragon Cartel, Arcane Roots, Thy Art Is Murder, The Amity Affliction, Avatar, Lonely the Brave and Feed the Rhino have also confirmed their performances. Download 2014 will be headlined by Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and Aerosmith. Rob Zombie, Fall Out Boy and Alter Bridg were announced as the headliners' respective main supports. "We've always said that one day we would get SikTh back together and do another show and next year just feels like the right time to stop the talking and do it," said guitarist Dan Weller. "To be honest we really miss playing those songs. Our fans have been so loyal so it's time to give them something back. We played Download in 2003 and 2006 so it seemed the obvious place for us to make a return." The festival is scheduled to take place from June 13 to 15 at Donington Park.
