Josh Homme Joins in 'A Night of a Thousand Vaginas'
Josh Homme will take part in a strange new event called "A Night of a Thousand Vaginas" next week.

The event which will raise money for the Texas Abortion Fund, and has been put on by the rights group A Is for. It's not clear what Homme will be performing at the the night, but he will appear alongside a comedy lineup which includes stars such as Zach Galifianakis, Sarah Silverman, Steve Agee, Jen Kirkman and Tiffany Haddish.

Tickets for the event on January 19th which cost between $60 and $100 have already sold out.

Describing their activist role, the group's website reads: "A Is for serves as an ally and advocate for organizations working to protect reproductive rights; we are a unifying forum utilizing social media to spotlight issues and encourage activism."

Meanwhile, Homme's band Queens of the Stone Age are already preparing to hit the studio to follow their popular 2013 album "…Like Clockwork."

They're booked in the studio until September, acceding to the frontman. "When it's time to make music, that's about getting lost for me. To be a control freak is not half as good as being a freak who's casually in control. You're feeling around in the dark for something that feels good. As long as you're not in an orgy, that can be an amazing moment."
