The trio will produce and curate the 90-minute long "Loud Like Love TV
" show on September 16, the day of the release of their new album "Loud Like Love
," the band's seventh studio LP. The show will be streamed live from YouTube Space London at 8pm BST via the band's official YouTube channel.
The show will feature interviews with the band and their "Loud Like Love" collaborators, as well as live performances of tracks on the record and behind the scenes content.
The album was produced by Adam Noble
and recorded in London's RAK Studios. It follows 2009's "Battle for the Sun
" and will be released in five different formats, as a 3D lenticular super deluxe box set, a limited edition deluxe digi-pack version, a double 12" coloured vinyl gatefold edition, a standard CD album and digitally.
Placebo are set to tour the LP later in the year, with their run of gigs reaching the UK in December. The first UK show will be at Birmingham O2 Academy on December 12 with further performances scheduled for Glasgow and Manchester, before the jaunt concludes in London with an O2 Academy Brixton gig on December 16.
