Randy Blythe and Testament's Alex Skolnick Working on 'Experimental iPad Music'
A video of Lamb of God's Randy Blythe and Testament's Alex Skolnick recording what the guitarist describes as "far out, experimental iPad music" has appeared online. The pair are currently on tour together, alongside metal behemoths Killswitch Engage. It is presently unclear whether the recordings will become a full fledged studio project, or are simply a personal project for the two musicians (Skolnick described the jam sessions as "a tour hobby" on Twitter). Lamb of God were recently denied a permit to play in Malaysia after government officials denounced the band as Satanists. Director general of the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia Datuk Othman issued the following statement regarding the band: "Lamb of God had drawn many controversies and was dubbed a 'satanic' band that fitted evil spirituality and anti-godliness even by the Christian community. The name Lamb of God also referred to Jesus that Christians referred to as the son of god." Watch the Instavideo here.
