Slayer's 'War Ensemble' Gets Shredding Ukulele Cover
When you hear "War Ensemble," the shredding opener from Slayer's 1990 "Seasons in the Abyss" album, we're guessing that the first thing you think isn't "Gee, I wonder what that would sound like on ukulele?"

Well, you're obviously not YouTube user Rob Scallon, who has done just that. Scallon has uploaded a video of him playing the Slayer classic, in which he has replaced all of the guitar parts with ukulele, right down to Kerry King's guitar solo. Check it out below.

The Slayer cover is not the first metal tune that the multi-instrumentalist has attempted. Scallon's YouTube channel is chock full of interesting interpretations of metal and non-metal classics, including an arrangement of System of a Down's "Chop Suey" for cellos.

What's the best version of a metal song played on non-metal instruments that you have ever heard? Let us know in the comments.
