Watch Slayer's 'Raining Blood' Played on Banjo
Earlier this month, metal fans were blown away by Chicago based guitarist Rob Scallon's note-perfect rendition of Slayer's "War Ensemble" on ukelele. Now, Scallon is back with a new Slayer rendition. This time, he's attempted a version of the band's 1986 classic "Raining Blood," played on banjo. You can check it out below.

AsĀ Blabbermouth notes, Scallon isn't the first person to perform an unusual cover of the Slayer track. Tori Amos transformed the song from a thrash metal juggernaut into an acoustic ballad for her 2001 covers album "Strange Little Girls." Speaking of that version, guitarist Kerry King noted:

"It took me a minute and a half to find a spot in the song where I knew where she was," he said. "It's so weird. If she had never told us, we would have never known. You could have played it for us and we'd have been like, 'What's that?' Like a minute and a half through I heard a line and was like, 'I know where she's at!'"
