X Factor Musical Closes After 2 Months
It has been announced that "I Can't Sing," a musical based on TV talent show the X Factor, will close early after just two months.

AsĀ NME reports, the West End musical, which was co-written by comedian Harry Hill, will see its final performance at the London Palladium on Saturday, May 10th. While the show was a spoof of the program, which reportedly portrayed Simon Cowell as "a money-obsessed, shiny-toothed control freak in high-waisted trousers," it was co-produced by Cowell's Syco Entertainment.

Nigel Hall of Syco has issued the following statement regarding the closure:

"Alongside Stage Entertainment we'd like to thank the cast and crew who have worked so hard on this show.

"To everyone at Really Useful Theatres and the ever supportive staff at the London Palladium, and everyone involved in 'I Can't Sing!' I'd like to say a huge thanks and the very best of luck with their next venture."
