While Aerosmith’s future might look more certain now than it did twelve months ago, that doesn’t mean that guitarist Joe Perry isn’t up for collaborations outside of the band.
The Miami New Times has announced that the legendary Aerosmith axe-man will be joining actress come rock star Juliette Lewis at Land Shark Tailgate Stage at Sun Life Stadium on November 18th at 7pm.
The event will take place before the Miami Dolphins game which starts at 8.20. Other acts on the bill include
Brett Michaels,
Carmit Bachar of the Pussycat Dolls, and
Cheap Trick. There will be free entry to the event for those with game tickets.
Joe Perry played on the Tailgate Stage last year with the Joe Perry Project. Juliette Lewis, who is a first timer to the event, is apparently excited to be on the bill: "I'm looking forward to performing on the Land Shark Tailgate Stage for South Florida's biggest party... I've always been a big sports fan, so I'm looking forward to performing at Sun Life Stadium and seeing the Miami Dolphins in action."
As of yet, there is no indication as to whether the set will comprise of Juliette Lewis originals, Aerosmith numbers or cover material, nor as to what, if anything, Aerosmith front man Steve Tyler will make of the collaboration.
