Alice Cooper Drummer And Steel Panther Played Van Halen's 'Hot For Teacher'

Alice Cooper drummer Glen Sobel - whose other credits include Vivian Campbell, SIXX: A.M. , BEAUTIFUL CREATURES and Paul Gilbert - sat in with Steel Panther this past Monday night (September 24) to play Van Halen's "Hot For Teacher", at the House Of Blues in West Hollywood, California. Also joining Steel Panther on stage during "Hot For Teacher" were Lance Turner and Joe Lester of famed Van Halen tribute band the Atomic Punks, which Steel Panther's Russ Parrish (a.k.a. Satchel) and Ralph Saenz (a.k.a. Michael Starr) were longtime members of, according to Blabbermouth.

Video footage of the performance can be seen below.

This was Sobel's first live appearance since being forced to take a temporary leave of absence from the Alice Cooper summer tour due to a persistent neck injury. He is expected back with the Cooper band this fall.
