Alice Cooper To Appear In Vampire Movie

Alice Cooper has landed a horrific new cameo role in Tim Burton's new movie "Dark Shadows".

The rocker will star opposite Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter in the spooky film.

According to insiders, Depp's vampire character hires Cooper to headline a private ball at his home in Maine.

The film also features Michelle Pfeiffer, Chloe Moretz and Eva Green.

It won't be the rocker's first turn in a horror movie - he appeared in "Nightmare On Elm Street: Freddy's Dead" and John Carpenter's "Prince Of Darkness".

That's awesome. I've been looking forward to this movie since they started talking about it a few years ago.

I hope Tim Burton can do the story justice, and I hope Johnny Depp doesn't get too comfortable or bored and just go through the motions, as it seems he's been doing lately.

So he would be one of the first people to make vampires that are creepy?

I just hope it's not too corny, but the Alice Cooper screenshot there isn't a really a good first impression of that. Hopefully there will at least be a good story underneath Burton's usual display of dementia, too. I know the source material provides one, but hopefully it isn't lost in the transition.

Seems pretty cool..I just hope Tim Burton doesn't carry on from where he left off in Alice in Wonderland..a.k.a turning a cool story into a "The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe set in Wonderland" and disappoint us 'cause we know he can do better.
