America's Youngest Rock Band The Thrashers Release 'Nine' EP

Nine year-old rockers The Thrashers have been friends since their pre-school days in the small town of Pacifica, California. Upon first look, one would assume these boys are no different than any other fourth graders… until they hit the stage. Masterminded by twin brothers Nick and Chris Rigling, the band can throw out original riffs comparable to any modern day headlining rock band.

The band, which consists of Nick (bass) and Chris Rigling (drums), Geddy Franco (lead guitar), Charley Rutledge (rhythm guitar), and Brandon Lurie (keys), has begun making waves in the Bay Area and has already sold out Broadway Studios, garnering more sales of merchandise and EPs than most acts triple their age.

The Thrashers will be the Whisky A Go Go's youngest performers to take stage on March 20 at 7:00 p.m.

"Nine", The Thrashers' independent debut release, in association with San Francisco Records, is available now via all major online retailers.

Listening to Soldier right now; was okay up until he started singing. XP

But hey, at least they're tight in their own way.

But what if its past their bedtime?!

Nah, they're not bad. I've heard worse from bands who actually have adults in them.

Hey man, I still watch Spongebob and I'm sure there are many people here that still do.

He its pretty cool though, you know, if thats what they wanna do, then awesome. Hopefully they're not getting pushed by their parents who are trying to live their failed fantasies through their kids.

Songs are probably about doin' hard candy and riding fast bikes without training wheels. They are probably gonna bash on Justin Beiber, just because.

^ +10

If they did instrumental songs, I might honestly like them. But I canNOT take them seriously with a nine-year old 'metal' singer. Sorry.
