Arctic Monkeys are set to snub interest from major record labels to re-sign with Domino Records, according to reports.
The Sheffield band have been with Domino since the release of their debut LP "Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I'm Not", but Music Week reports that they have now fulfilled their current deal with the label after the release of their fourth album "Suck It And See".
A host of labels including Sony imprint Columbia are believed to be interested in signing
Alex Turner and co, but their manager Ian McAndrew hinted that Domino were likely to be at the front of the queue when the band decide to look for a new deal.
"It is true that the latest album from Arctic Monkeys is their last under the current arrangement with Domino," he said, before adding:
"We have not entered into discussions with any other prospective label although we have received plenty of enquiries. Domino has been a great label for the band and afforded us fantastic support and therefore will be at the front of any future discussions we may have about further albums."
It was first reported in August that major labels were interested in signing Arctic Monkeys, when a source claimed that the expiration of their deal was set to cause "a huge bun fight".
In June, the band made chart history when they became only the second band ever to take four consecutive albums to the summit of the album charts in their first week of release with "Suck It And See".
