According to Blabbermouth.net, Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose ejected an unruly fan during the band's headlining concert this past Saturday night (December 17) at Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
"Out, motherf--ker! Out! Get the f--k out!" Rose announced over the microphone, mocking the fan who appeared to be confused as to why he was being asked to leave. "Yeah, you! See ya, you dumbass motherf--ker."
As security walked the fan through the crowd, Rose and his fellow bandmates stood at the front of the stage waving, as Rose began singing "Happy Trails".
"That's the first person I've had thrown out for 100 shows," Rose said from the stage after the fan was removed, "like the good old days."
Fan-filmed video footage of the incident can be seen below.
The last time Guns N' Roses was due to play in Vancouver, in November 2002, fans of the legendary rock band erupted in anger when Rose unexpectedly canceled the show at GM Place.
Police moved in to disperse the rioting crowd and allegedly injured at least two men in the process.
"On behalf of the city I'd like to thank you for not tearing the place up," Rose said at the very end of Saturday's three-hour concert. "I apologize for my part in any past affairs."
Ex-Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan joined the latest version of Guns on stage in Vancouver to perform two GN'R classics: "You Could Be Mine" and "Civil War".
McKagan also performed "You Could Be Mine" with Guns on Friday at the Key Arena in Seattle.
Duff's band Loaded opened for Guns at both the Seattle and Vancouver shows.
McKagan made worldwide headlines in October 2010 when he joined Guns onstage for four songs at a concert in London, England, marking the first time he had set foot on a stage with Guns N' Roses in 17 years.
Guns N' Roses will be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next April in Cleveland, prompting speculation about whether the event could lead to a reunion of the band's original lineup.
What exactly was the context of this? What was the guy doing that was so bad as to get thrown out? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he just flipped Axl the bird or something.
As long as you morons keep giving Axl the attention he defenitely does not deserve, he will continue to do whatever he wants with fans. This type of incidents are the moron fans fault who continue to support this a-hole
Axl will usually have someone kicked out if they're doing something stupid. No word of a lie, he once had a security guard kicked out for getting violent with a fan.
Or he could kick someone out for wearing a top hat.
Maybe the guy, thrown out by Axl, ...
... attacked other fans?
... filmed with a professional camera?
... threw something on the stage?
But yeah, blame it on Axl as always. At least he has the balls to do something like that and I'm sure he had his reasons.
Hahaha I live in Vancouver and this is the first I have heard of this, goes to show you that nobody really gave a shit that they were here. I would pay to see Duff and Slash playing GnR songs with someone else singing then to see Axl, guy is such a douche.
I hate Axl completely, and I love Dave Grohl. But we can't sit there and praise Grohl for kicking a fan out while flaming Axl for doing the same.
Granted, I am assuming that the fan deserved it. The whole band waved at him, which leads me to believe he was doing something truly worthy of being ejected.
I'm not ruling out the possibility that maybe Axl was just being egotistical, though.
He wouldn't kick someone out for no reason. There are alot of dickheads at Guns shows. At the Birmingham UK show, a bald guy at the front wouldn't stop hitting me and everyone nearby. I would have loved Axl to throw him out as he was causing everyone to have a shit time.
This article is badly written and is biased against Axl.
I really ****in dig early Guns n Roses music, but Axl needs to ****in go home and stay there. The man's talent has faded and all he has left is an elevated sense of self. And good god that picture of him is terrible, he looks like a rejected cast member from Pirates of the Caribbean.
He's not a dick for removing someone. He's a dick for not clear cutting the context, and then showing off afterward as if he did it just because "it's like the good old days".
Which good old days were these anyway, Axl? The days where you didn't actually show up to the gigs, or the ones when you walked off stage in a tantrum when the crowd wasn't pleasing you
Dave Grohl throws guy out of concert: HEY DAVE GROHL IS AWESOME.
Axl Rose throws guy out of concert: AXL ROSE IS THE WORST PERSON EVER, I HOPE HIS PET DOG GETS RUN OVER.
If you haven't already noticed, UG is a place where double standards and idiotic, contradictory remarks are the norm.
Add the fact that there was documented reasoning for Grohl's actions (fighting) and there doesn't seem to be any reason at all for Axl's actions, you shouldn't be one bit surprised about this.
I reckon the UG community didnt tell us the reason on purpose. Stiring up trouble as always. I only ask that people keep an open mind, in the second video he looks happy suggesting that hes done something good for everybody else. He really dosnt seem like that bad of a guy to me. (if you excuse his swearing)

If Dave didn't have a good reason to kick the guy out, I would be a little disappointed in him, but I would still like him because of all the good he's done.
I don't like ANYTHING about Axl, so he doesn't get the same benefit of the doubt from me.

Wtf has Dave Ghrol doing with this ?
I do agree with you, there must be a good reason it wasnt Ashba and Bumblefoot would be waving like that.
I can see it now..... Axl is gonna be 84 years old, his gonna walk out his front door and start shouting "get out motherfu**** get out" the neighbors come out to see whats wrong and they see nothing but a little squirel, they all look at each other and are all thinking the same thing " this man is crazy"
why some people think this is cool? its not cool to eject a fan in a show, maybe if that guy was just an *******, but not even when he jump into the crowd to punch a guy with a camera, its not cool to leave the stage just because youre an arrogant
I think it's such bullshit that members of the band are able to cherry-pick anyone out of the crowd and force them to leave. When you think about, he could have randomly selected anyone in the crowd and suddenly started pointing and shouting "out mother****er out!" and the dumb knuckle draggers working security would toss the person out.
The singer of Skid Row is a real man unlike Axl. He kicked a fan in the face after having a beer bottle thrown at his face. Axl just yells at this guy.

Or what about that time someone threw a water bottle at Sebastian Bach, then he spiked it into the crowd, breaking a young girl's nose?
I f*cking hate you Axl. Get over yourself. Your voice is terrible. You're an arrogant, pompous ass. PLEASE LEAVE
You brought yourself to the article. If you don't want to hear/see/be aware of the guy -- don't pay attention. It's a fairly simple concept.
The public's interest in the original GNR had just about fizzled out before you were even a slight tingle in your dad's nutsack. So, aside from some of the Chinese Democracy anticipation in the media (which ended 3 years ago), it would have been fairly easy to avoid all things GNR.
But apparently, you just like going out of your way to piss yourself off and be negative. Sucks for you. Seems like your comment is pointed in the wrong direction.
Technically he had no right to throw him out unless he was willing to give him a full refund.
For good or bad he paid to be there, therefore it is his right to heckle him if he should so choose. At the end of the day axl is getting paid to be heckled. But he can't choose his audience.

This, children, is called maturity.

For all I know, the guy Dave Grohl threw out of the show had just been attacked and was merely defending himself, but my boner won't let me rationalize or be mad at Dave Grohl.
On Axl Rose:
What the hell? This does nothing for my penis. That makes him a horrible person. Who does he think he is not telling me why he does things?
Also, to everyone saying that this isn't the same as the Dave Grohl situation: It's the same exact thing.
The only difference is that Axl looks a little cooler doing it. Dave Grohl's seems more pacifist, like, "No fighting, you guys. Let's just dance." Axl Rose seems more like he would have done something about it if nobody else had.
You can clearly hear Axl on the second video saying, "Some guy wanted to fight. He can go fight with his dick outside."
There's really no point to this. Axl's been getting to shows on time, GNR has been getting great reviews and more good publicity, so UG has to desperately come up with anything they could possibly spin against Axl. It's ****ing annoying.

Because Axl has a reputation for being reasonable, right?

Everyone else was too preoccupied with watch the throne on Sunday to care.
I like how he apologizes for "his part" in that riot. Pretty sure it was almost completely his fault. We are a pretty riotous city though lol
I had tickets for their show here in Vancouver in 2002. I vowed to never pay for a single album, ticket, or piece of merch of theirs again after they cause a riot and screwed fans over.
Because he fronts Guns N' Roses, an excellent band by today's standards. And he has a bloody good voice. They actually like Guns N' Roses.

Yeah they do, have you never heard their music? You get inducted into the Hall of Fame because of your capabilities as a rock band. Not because of your attitude towards people.

A good voice? The screecher has a good voice. He ruined "Live and Let Die".
the more i read of Axl, the more i think GNR is a ****ing joke..a parody, a cover band with the original singer trying to "rip off the kids of their hard earned cash" sound familiar, "get in the ring mother****er".
If there was a valid reason for this then thats ok but the reaction of Mr Rose leaves a lot to be desired. Has no dignity what so ever. Your a 50 year man for gods sake! Just guessing at the age thing so i expect alot of gunners fans to get anal regarding axl ;
Yes, Axl is known for throwing people out... But so what? That's why I love the guy! He's a total ******* rock star, even today. We keep complaining about "rock being dead" and all that bullshit yet when an actual rock star (Who performs 3 hour sets a night we seem to oversee) does an actual rock star thing we say boo! WTF?
