Behemoth Dominate Worldwide Charts

Metal Blade Records is proud to announce that commanders of blackened death metal, Behemoth, are still dominating charts worldwide with their latest full-length release Evangelion, which was released on August 11. Evangelion has now entered its fourth week in the Polish music charts coming in at the #1 spot three weeks in a row and one week at the #2 spot, just behind Michael Jackson.

Guitarist/vocalist Adam "Nergal" Darski comments:

"It’s unheard of. Evangelion is storming the charts in Poland and we’ve been three weeks in row number one selling record in our home country. How insane is that? If someone had told me this few months ago I would have never believed that this conservative country can embrace us so much. Things are changing. And it feels good. I’m grateful and happy that people dig this record so much…again, I want to thank everyone who picked up his copy of Evangelion. It means a lot!"

In other Behemoth news; the video for Ov Fire And The Void continues to create controversy. The band’s new video has recently been banned from MTV meaning metalers will not be able to catch the epic video on Headbangers Ball. Luckily for metalheads everywhere, the irreverent and thought provoking new video filmed by Grupa 13 in Poland, the same people behind Behemoth’s last video At the Left Hand Ov God, can be viewed here.

not a single complaint about their new album. i was wondering if they would be able to make a better song than Arcana Hereticae but i think Diamonos is it!! and now im really interested in the music video. its always much more fun when things are banned

Hmmmm, Behemoth is amazing and Evangelion is an amazing record. Highly recommended!!! Great tracks and sweet riffs. I remember when I gave Nergal those songs from my shit collection but looks like they turned them into silver!!! (cause I hate gold)

the video is causing "controversy" and theres nothing bad about it. theres naked people, WOW never seen that before. its used as an artform, not for pornography, so i dont see how or why its such a problem.
