Black Dahlia Murder Temporarily Lose Drummer

The Black Dahlia Murder were forced to cancel two gigs this week ? Minneapolis on February 22 and Chicago on February 23 ? because of some immigration issues, according to MTV.com.

New drummer Pierre Langlois was denied entry to the U.S. from his native Canada on Monday. In the interim, former Chimaira skinsman Kevin Talley has agreed to fill in. The band resumed the trek in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Friday (February 24).

The Black Dahlia Murder have been confirmed for the eighth annual New England Metal And Hardcore Festival, set to take place Friday-Sunday, April 28-30 at The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The band's most recent album, "Miasma", was released in July 2005 via Metal Blade Records. The CD was recorded with Eric Rachel (Nora, Atreyu, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Burnt By The Sun, Every Time I Die, God Forbid) and Andreas Magnusson (formerly of Scarlet) at Trax East studios in New Jersey.
