Blink 182 Might Reunite

Travis Barker, drummer of Plus 44 and previously Blink 182 and The Aquabats, recently spoke to Metromix Los Angeles about whether his former band Blink 182 will reunite in the near future, saying:

"I don't know. You know, to be honest with you, I haven't spoken to Tom [DeLonge] in five years. I speak to Mark [Hoppus] every day, he's one of my greatest friends, so...that's the status of that. I think everyone would have to be friends, and I think we'd all have to want to do it in order for it to happen."

Blink 182 went an "indefinite hiatus" in 2005 after releasing the self-titled album two years prior, in 2003.

blink will never get back together, tom went nuts and thinks he's the next robert smith (an icon i've yet to understand), and mark and travis can't even get the money to release a second Plus-44 album (the first one was a let down and a half). Angels and Airwaves sucks. their first album consists of 4 minute looped electronic intros, and the second is just so effin happy, and sounds like a political rally to come join the tom delonge party. I love blink 182, and have since i was a kid, but this was the best way for it to end.

Even though I'm in college now, (I listened to them constantly in middle school) I'll still pop in a Blink CD from time to time just to relive the past for a bit. Well if you read between the lines I think he's saying that it's a possibility, the point I was trying to make though is that the tile dosen't say "Blink to reunite" if it did then people would have full right to complain about it.

That's what was so beautiful and amazing about Blink 182. They could joke around. They could have a cd with a secret masturbation joke (Take Off Your Pants And Jacket) and have track 4 be a joke song about grandparents shitting themselves and have track 7 be a serious song about divorce.
I know people are going to get mad at me for posting this. To tell you the truth, I do care a little. It saddens me to see the fact that nobody like such a amazing band like this one. I know that everyone has their own respected opinion and everyone has their own musical taste and interests but I think that if everyone has the chance to sit and listen to these guys, early stuff or later stuff, then they would like them.
