Bob Dylan To Record Navigation Directions?

Bob Dylan is set to become the new voice of a satellite navigation system.

The 68-year-old folk singer, known for his distinctly raspy voice, could soon be helping lost fans find their way home after bosses at two car firms approached him to record audio directions for their Global Positioning System (GPS) maps.

He explains, "I am talking to a couple of car companies about being the voice of their GPS system. I think it would be good if you are looking for directions and hear my voice saying something like, 'Left at the next street, no a right - you know what? Just go straight.'

"I probably shouldn't do it because whichever way I go I always end up at one place - Lonely Avenue."

If The Blowin' In The Wind hitmaker agrees to the deal, he'll join celebrities including Monty Python actor John Cleese and Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall who have both provided GPS commentaries.

yeah, this is a weird choice. maybe next they should hire Sylvester Stallone.

they should've gone for actors/entertainers who have good voice over experience. ringo star (who did thomas the tank engine when i was younger), will arnett (arrested development), pierce brosnan or any talk show announcer wouldve been better.
